As I poked more and more using the o1-preview model I’m not sure o1 has knowledge about itself, which makes sense given the cutoff date. To prompts like ‘What is OpenaAI o1?’ I received responses like “As of my knowledge cutoff in October 2023, there is no publicly available information about a product, service, or initiative called OpenAI o1.” which makes me think that the entire article may be an hallucination – what do you think? )
